Ocean Park

China, an East Asian country is one of the world’s oldest civilizations. It has a vast cultural history of more than five thousand years and an outstanding natural beauty. On the other hand, this country has remained a comparatively isolated and secluded one, and being a land of mystery, this country is not known to the western half of the world. However, China is rapidly developing and has grown in the phase of modernization, with an immense speed and is also welcoming the outer world to interact and do business with them.

Ocean Park is a theme park that adds to the beauty of China and is admired as the most visited tourist attraction. It has something that appeals to every age group from thrilling roller coasters and Chinese historical recreations to Asia's biggest shark aquarium, aviaries and a Kids' World Mini- Wonderland.

Ocean Park is divided into three different levels and comprises the coastal area at Tai Shue Wan, a Lowland Garden area and an uphill Headland area that can be reached by a breathtaking cable car ride or by the world's second longest set of escalators. It is this amusement park that has the largest reef aquarium in the world, the Atoll Reef, which is a replica of an Indo-Pacific coral habitat.

Ocean Park also has the Ocean Theatre which is an open-air amphitheatre that has regular shows featuring sea lions, dolphins, killer whales and high divers. Undeniably, Ocean Park's most popular residents are An An and Jia Jia which are a pair of Giant Pandas who live in the specially designed panda habitat and have been drawing in crowds since their arrival in Hong Kong in 1998.
