Nanguan Mosque, constructed at the end of Ming dynasty that lasted from 1368 to 1644 is located in the southeast corner of Yinchuan's old city. The current building, which was rebuilt in the year 1980, covers an area of 2,070 square meters. It has an Islamic architectural method, complete with royal green domes. The Great Prayer Hall in the higher level can accommodate thousand people and the lower level contains bathing houses and a secondary prayer hall home for the imams.
