Grand View Garden

China, an East Asian country is one of the world’s oldest civilizations. It has a vast cultural history of more than five thousand years and an outstanding natural beauty. On the other hand, this country has remained a comparatively isolated and secluded one, and being a land of mystery, this country is not known to the western half of the world. However, China is rapidly developing and has grown in the phase of modernization, with an immense speed and is also welcoming the outer world to interact and do business with them.

The Grand View Garden, located at 701, Qing-Shang Expressway on the east bank of the Dianshan Lake, an area of Shanghai, is both a large classic architectural complex and a modern garden using the traditional Chinese gardening art. The garden combines the splendor of royal residences with the elegant simplicity of southern style landscaping. It consists of the east and west scenic areas. The east scenic area has the Shanghai folk cultural village, the plum garden, and the osmanthus garden as its main scenic spots. The east scenic area is modeled on, A Dream of Red Mansion, a Chinese classic novel by Cao Xueqin or Hung Loumeng during the Qing Dynasty, who ruled China from 1644 to 1911.

It covers an area of 9 hectares, of which the classic buildings occupy 8,000 square meters, including 20 architectural complexes like Daguanlou or Grand View Tower, Yihongyuan or Cheerful Red Court, Xiaoxiangguan or Bamboo Lodge, Hengwuyuan or Lush Grass Court. The chambers in the garden are luxuriously and elegantly decorated; ancient and well-known trees are set off by red columns and colorful walls, giving tourists a sense of the grand royal garden and the graceful garden in southern China. Every plant in the garden fully embodies the fine mood depicted in, A Dream of Red Mansions. In the east of the grand view garden is a piece of land of 100 hectares, on which are planted 340,000 trees.

China is a popular travel destination for visitors and globe trotters from all over the world who appreciate its beautiful landscapes, rich culture, delicious local cuisine, hospitality and safety. Quality is China's top priority.
